Chapter 1
The Pizza Fairy
Im hungry! The little girl whined softly to her older brother who was standing in front of the microwave. Her bright sea green eyes watched him with anticipation as she swung her legs to and fro in her seat. She was wearing a blue shirt with a purple long-sleeved undershirt. A short purple skirt covered the top half of her blue bell-bottom jeans and her purple shoes continued to tap the bar of the seat. As she turned to face her brother once more her strawberry blond hair slightly fell against her cheeks enhancing the freckles that covered her cute little nose.
Alright, alright, quit your whining. Here are your pizza rolls. The young boy said as he pulled the rolls out of the microwave and slid the plate across the table towards his sister. Unlike his sister, he appeared to have a dark red shade of hair that was caused by the gel that was used to spike it. He was wearing a red shirt with a yellow long-sleeved undershirt and a normal pair of black jeans. As he sat down across from his sister his dark forest green eyes showed the meager annoyance he held for her at the moment, but all in all he held a calm demeanor.
Why are you so mean about it, Socs? The little girl whined softly.
Because youre so whiney about it, Ana. Socs stated in a matter-a-fact tone. Ana just ignored her brother as she popped a warm pizza roll in her mouth making Socs wrinkle his nose in distaste at her.
Why do you eat pizza rolls so often? Youre going to get sick of them.
Am not! Ana stated in defense.
Yes you are! And when you finally do, youre going to upset the pizza fairy.
Ana stopped in the middle of putting another pizza roll in her mouth and she looked at her brother quizzically.
The pizza fairy? She asked slowly.
Socs grinned and thought to himself, hook, line, and sinker. He then looked back at Ana whose eyes where now ten times bigger and full of wonder.
Yeah, the pizza fairy
is
ruler of
pizza land.
Ana gasped softly her eyes never leaving her brothers face, which alerted Socs, letting him know that he now had his sisters full attention.
You see, the pizza fairy has a whole army of pizza soldiers, each in their own divided sections. One group is in charge of the meatball cannons, another the boiling tomato sauce catapults. The pizza fairy and her generals ride cheesy bread horses. Some soldiers practice archery with there pineapple arrows, and others practice blocking and attacking with their sausage swords and mushroom shields.
In the middle of his explanation Ana had began to eat her pizza rolls again, but was stopped once more when her bothers voice dropped to a deathly grim whisper.
And Ana
Do you know who they attack?
Anas eyes grew wide with terror and she managed to slowly shake her head.
N-no
They attack people who get sick of pizzas.
Ana merely gasped and went to grab another pizza roll when suddenly her jaw dropped open. There sitting on one of her pizza rolls was a little fairy about the size of her hand. The fairy was wearing a long bell-sleeved shirt that was made of pepperoni and it had a spider web pattern that was made of cheese that stretched across the shirt. The small skirt that graced her hips was made from thin pineapple slices and her sauce red hair was up in two buns with a good amount left out that went down past her knees. Her unusual golden eyes sparkled playfully as she placed her hands on her hips and winked at Ana.
Socs
look! Ana managed to whisper and Socs looked down at her plate and his own eyes grew wide in surprise.
No way!
Socs, its the pizza fairy! Just like you said!
The little fairy giggled before she flew up in between both the children and she wiggled her finger at Socs, scolding him in her own language. Ana giggled herself and looked from the fairy to Socs.
I think shes reprimanding you Socs.
Dumb fairy! Socs grumbled before he swatted the fairy away. Her high-pitched squeal was heard as she soared away and landed on the ground with a light ping. Ana then glared at her brother evilly.
You meanie! What did you do that for?
Dumb fairy was putting pixie dust everywhere. Besides, fairies arent even real!
Are too! Ana stated.
Are not! Socs protested.
Are too!
Than prove it. Socs said.
Well, what do you call that? Ana said as she pointed to where the fairy was.
A figment of your twisted little imagination. Socs replied.
Be quiet you meanie head!
Suddenly, that high-pitched jabbering of the fairy made both children turn their heads towards her. The fairy continued to squeak in her language and her creamy colored skin changed to a dark saucy red before she finally let out a high-pitched scream. After the pizza fairys short temper tantrum she stomped her foot down onto the tile floor and disappeared in a flurry of pizza sauce.
